The Z-Bowl is a classic spot to build quarterpipes or corners and at the end of the season we are much likely to go there. After the kids joined us to watch the last years, this year it was about riding.
Grandpa Dieter visited us and took the kids (Ferry 4, Wally 6, Hedi 8) on a shred day to Obertauern. It was a really laid back, fun day, they found some untracked lines. And for a guy at age 77 he still has some solid powder turns in his legs!
Kathi woke up Hedi (8) for an early bird session when she saw it had fresh snow over night … and it turned into a really epic session. After all, it’s end of March!
We went to Alpendorf for the 3rd year to take part at the Family Freestyle Weekend organized by our good friend Muck Müller and his team. And once again we really enjoyed riding the park, meeting friends and testing things.
If you think little kids can’t ride snowboards, Hedi, Wally will show it is possible! We had a rad winter so far and march was no different … and it’s awesome to see how much fun the kids have in powder! 3 kids at age 4, 6 and 8 freeriding together!
Nicola Thost hosted a special Sprungbrett event at the Nitro Run To The Hills in Ehrwald, so kids could learn to ride halfpipe in a special mini version – a tribute to the 90ies.
Hedi and Wally made full use of this opportunity to do their first little frontside airs!
